Description
These crispy wonton bites are filled with luscious strawberry cheesecake and fried to golden perfection. A fun, shareable dessert for any occasion!
Ingredients

- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup strawberry jam or preserves
- 2–3 fresh strawberries, diced (optional)
- 20–24 wonton wrappers
- Water, for sealing edges
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Extra strawberry jam or sauce (optional)
- Fresh strawberries, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in diced strawberries if using.
- Place 1 tsp of filling in center of each wonton wrapper. Top with a dot of strawberry jam if not mixed in.
- Moisten wrapper edges with water. Fold into triangle or envelope and press to seal.
- Heat oil in skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
- Serve with whipped cream, extra jam, and sliced strawberries if desired.
Notes
- Don’t overfill the wrappers to avoid leaking during frying.
- Refrigerate assembled wontons for up to 4 hours before frying.
- Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in an air fryer for crispiness.
